Float alternative

A Float alternativewithout the hours, the utilization and the per-person bill.

Float is a resource planner built for teams that schedule hours, like agencies and consultancies. If you lead an engineering team and want to see who's out, who's on call and who's on which project, Forgot puts that on one calendar you set up by pasting your team in, for one payment.

One-time payment, no subscription. 20 of 20 left at $9, then $19.

You needed to see who's on what. You got a resource planning project.

Resource planners ask for hours per day, projects, roles and allocations. Someone has to keep all of it current, and every scheduled person costs a monthly fee.

Most weeks you only need three answers: who's out, who's on call, and whether the release date is safe.

How it works

Plan in days, not hours.

  • You don't bill clients by the hour
  • You'd rather pay once than per person every month

Stick with Float if

  • You schedule billable hours or report on utilization
  • You need time tracking or project budgets
  • You plan more than 50 people on one schedule
