What day should a sprint start?
Many teams start on a Monday or Tuesday and end on a Friday or the Monday after, so planning and the review don't fall on a Friday afternoon. Avoid starting on a day that's often a holiday, like Monday.
How long should a sprint be?
Two weeks is the most common. One-week sprints suit fast-moving teams, three- or four-week sprints suit teams with longer pieces of work or heavy release processes.
