Making it yours in Docs.
Click into any square and type. Each one has room for a few lines; if you write more, the square grows and the month may spill onto a second page, so keep it short or shrink the text.
To change a month's color, select its weekday row and use Format, Table, Table properties, Color, Cell background color. For a photo calendar, add an image above a month's title and make the squares a little shorter.
Google Docs can't recalculate dates, so a new year means a new download. Pick next year above and press download again; your colors and dates are remembered in this browser.

Does Google Docs have a calendar template?

How do I make a 2027 calendar in Google Docs?
Choose 2027 above and press Download for Google Docs. In Google Drive, upload the file, open it, and use File, Save as Google Docs. You'll have the year on page one and a page for every month.
Does it work in Microsoft Word?
Yes. It's a standard .docx: Word, Pages and LibreOffice open it with the same landscape pages, colors and tables.
Can I just print it without Google Docs?
Yes. Press Print or PDF above: your browser prints the year page and all twelve months in landscape, and Save as PDF in the print dialog gives you a PDF.
Which holidays are on the 2027 calendar?
The 11 US federal holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Pick + Popular to add the days people plan around but don't get off, like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Or pick None for a clean calendar.
Can I add birthdays and my own dates?
Yes. Type them in Your dates, one per line, like "3/14 Mom's birthday" or "Oct 3 Team offsite". Without a year they come back every year; with one ("6/20/2027 Launch") they show only in that year. They print in the day's square in your calendar's colors.
Is it really free?
