Every date is a formula from the yellow year cell. Type 2028 and the months, weekdays and holidays all move. No re-downloading next year.
Holidays that move right
Thanksgiving is the fourth Thursday, Memorial Day the last Monday of May: the rules are in the file, so the dates are right in any year.
Your dates, every year
Birthdays, anniversaries and launches go on the Dates tab, and show up on the month and the year view. Add more rows there any time.

Each tab is set up for landscape, one page wide, so File, Print gives you a clean wall calendar.
How to open it in Google Sheets.

Download it
Pick your year and colors above and press Download for Google Sheets. You get one .xlsx file.

Import it into Sheets
Open sheets.google.com, start a blank spreadsheet, then File, Import, Upload, and drop the file in. Choose Replace spreadsheet and press Import data.

Or upload it to Drive
In Google Drive, New, File upload. Double-click the file, and in Sheets use File, Save as Google Sheets so it's a regular Google Sheet.

Change the year any time
On the Year tab, type a new year into the yellow cell. Every month tab and holiday follows. In Excel, just open the file; it works the same.
Making it yours in Sheets.
Type straight into the big white rows under each date: that's what they're for. Press Alt+Enter (Option+Enter on a Mac) to start a new line inside a square.
To add a date after you've downloaded, put it on the Dates tab: the date in column B and its name in column C. It shows up on its month and turns the day on the Year tab its theme color.
To print, open a month tab and use File, Print, then choose Landscape and Fit to page. Pick Workbook instead of Current sheet to print the whole year at once.

Is there a calendar template in Google Sheets already?
Google Sheets has an Annual calendar in its template gallery (File, New, From template gallery). It's a plain grid: holidays, your own dates and colors are up to you. This one comes with US holidays, your dates, seven color themes, a notes column and a year cell that redraws the whole thing.
How do I make a calendar for 2027 in Google Sheets?
Choose 2027 above, press Download for Google Sheets, then in Sheets use File, Import, Upload with the file. If you already have last year's file from here, just type 2027 into the yellow year cell on the Year tab.
Does it work in Excel?
Yes. It's an ordinary .xlsx file: Excel 2019, Microsoft 365, Excel for Mac and Numbers all open it, with the same formulas, colors and print settings.
Can weeks start on Monday?
Yes. Pick Monday under Weeks start on before you download, and every month tab and the year view start their weeks on Monday.
Which holidays are on the 2027 calendar?
The 11 US federal holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Pick + Popular to add the days people plan around but don't get off, like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Or pick None for a clean calendar.
Can I add birthdays and my own dates?
Yes. Type them in Your dates, one per line, like "3/14 Mom's birthday" or "Oct 3 Team offsite". Without a year they come back every year; with one ("6/20/2027 Launch") they show only in that year. They print in the day's square in your calendar's colors.
Is it really free?
