What the policy says.
- Common in-office days are Monday through Thursday.
- All support-center people leaders had to be based in Seattle or Toronto within 12 months of the July 2025 letter. Future hires and lateral moves require a Seattle or Toronto base.
- Staff who did not want to comply could take a one-time voluntary exit program with a cash payment.
- An October 2024 memo set an accountability process from January 2025, with consequences 'up to, and including, separation'. Vacation, sick time and travel do not count as office days; disability exemptions are available.
- Niccol: 'We are reestablishing our in-office culture because we do our best work when we're together.'
