Questions

How do I see public holidays for several countries at once?

Add each country your team works from to the calendar above. It puts their 2027 public holidays on one year, marks the days everyone is off together and the days only part of the team is, and lists the weeks with no holiday anywhere.

What is a split day?

A day when part of your team has a public holiday and the rest is working, like Thanksgiving for a team in the US and India. Meetings, releases and handoffs on split days go wrong most often, because half the people who'd answer are out.

How do I add these holidays to Google Calendar or Outlook?

Click "Add to calendar". You get one .ics file with every holiday for every country on your team, each naming who's off and who's working. In Google Calendar, open Settings, then Import & export. In Outlook, open the file or use File, then Open & Export, then Import/Export.

Which countries does it cover?

Over 200 countries, with states and regions where holidays differ (US states aren't offered, because private employers there follow the federal list). The countries US teams work with most were checked against each government's official list.

What if my company's holidays are different?

Click any holiday in the list to switch it: off if your team gets it, worked if it doesn't. Many US companies work Columbus Day and Veterans Day, and many give the day after Thanksgiving. The switches are saved in the link, so you can share the exact calendar.

Can I track vacations as well as holidays?

This calendar is holidays only. Forgot puts everyone's time off, public holidays and release dates on one board, so you see when too many people are out before it's a problem. It's free for 14 days, then a one-time payment.
