What the policy says.

• About 60% of staff (many traders, managing directors and branch workers) were already in five days. The change mainly hit the roughly 40% on a three-day hybrid schedule.
• About 10% of jobs stay fully remote, including virtual call centers in Baltimore and Detroit.
• The memo lets staff work from home 'as life events happen'. Fortune (2026) also reports flexibility for caregivers.
• Rollout went site by site with at least 30 days' notice. Many sites started March 3, 2025, some March 10, and some (for example Polaris in Ohio and Plano in Texas) later.
• Attendance is tracked through badge swipes on manager dashboards (reported 2022). A 2023 memo told managers to take 'corrective action' with staff who did not comply.
• Managing directors have been required in five days a week since April 2023.
• In June 2026, NY/NJ-area staff could request remote work on World Cup match days.
