• COO Adam Miller's memo said 'we are better when we are together' and tied the timing to NBC's 2026 centennial, the Milan-Cortina Olympics, the Super Bowl and FIFA World Cup coverage.
• Fridays are flexible, but some roles require Friday on-site work.
• Life events can be accommodated with time off, adjusted hours or extra remote days 'when appropriate'.
• Voluntary exit package for VP level and below hybrid staff in the U.S. or U.K.: 8 weeks base pay, 3 months of health coverage and full bonus eligibility, with an Oct. 3, 2025 deadline to raise it (NJ.com citing Business Insider).
• Employees moving to Versant (the cable-network spin-off with CNBC, MS NOW, USA and others) were not covered by the memo; Versant separated on 2026-01-02.
• Before the change, NBCU hybrid staff had to be in the office 3 days a week (Tue-Thu).
