Under the Employment Act you get 7 days of paid annual leave in your first year, once you've worked three months, plus a day for each further year, up to 14. Many office employers give more. Singapore's 11 public holidays follow several calendars, so Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, Hari Raya Haji, Vesak Day and Deepavali move from year to year.
When a public holiday falls on a Sunday, the Monday after is a holiday too. If it falls on a Saturday or another day you don't work, your employer has to give you a day off in lieu or an extra day's pay. If a holiday is missing from the plan, click its date on the calendar to add it.

How do I make the most of my annual leave in 2027?
Spend days of leave on the workdays between a holiday and a weekend, so each one unlocks days you'd have off anyway. What if a public holiday falls on a Saturday?
If Saturday isn't a working day for you, your employer has to give you another day off or an extra day's pay. Agree which one, then click the day off on the calendar so the plan works around it.
How do I check this year's holiday dates?
The Ministry of Manpower publishes each year's public holidays in advance. If a festival date in the planner looks off, check its list and click a date on the calendar to add or remove a day.
What is a bridge day?
A workday stuck between a public holiday and a weekend. Take it off and one day of leave gets you four days off in a row.
How many days off can I get with 14 days of leave?
In 2027, around the 10 holidays most people in Singapore get off: 10 days of leave become 33 days off, 14 days of leave become 41 days off, 19 days of leave become 56 days off. The exact number depends on the kind of breaks you pick and the holidays your employer gives.
What if my company's holidays are different?
Open "Holidays and weekend" to switch holidays on or off, or change which days are your weekend. Click any workday on the calendar to mark a day you already have off, like a company holiday or a shutdown week.
