What the policy says.

• Required office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
• Remote approvals granted earlier were reassessed, and most new fully remote hiring stopped.
• Attendance is tracked at team and individual level.
• Paid sabbatical eligibility moved from 5 to 8 years of service in the same 2025 change.
• Sept 2026: about 3,300 layoffs (around 10%). Remote employees must relocate near a hub or find another job, and the remote share is to fall to about 1% (San Francisco Chronicle via Flex Index).
